Email marketing is an extremely effective way to raking in cash on the Internet. Here's my proprietary 5-step system to get you on the road to massive email marketing success:
1. Create a few opt-in pages
Target 3 niches and create 3 opt-in pages for them. What's an opt-in page? An opt-in page is simply a page designed to get people to subscribe to your email newsletter. A good opt-in page should have an attention-grabbing headline and captivating bullets. Of course, it should also have an opt-inform to capture subscribers. You'd need an autoresponder to do this. A great one that comes highly recommended is Aweber.
2. Market your web pages
Use article marketing to advertise your opt-in pages. Create 3 different pen names at article directories and submit articles relating to each opt-in page topic to the directories. Articles are a fantastic way to advertise on the Internet because of their viral nature. Bloggers and ezine publishers can use your articles, so it gets your link passed on really quickly.
3. Create a follow-up system
Create automated messages in your autoresponder system so it sends emails to your subscribers on autopilot. Write informative content in your emails so your subscribers will be compelled to keep opening your emails!
4. Send broadcasts to your list
On occasion, send broadcasts to your list with your latest product offer, an affiliate offer, a product review, or even just to give a survey. Broadcasts are a great way for you to build a relationship with your subscribers.
5. Joint-venture with other list owners
Find other list owners in your niche and ask to do a cross-promotion. This means you promote their products to your list and vice-versa. You can find joint-venture partners by searching through Google, forums or the Clickbank marketplace.
