Mastering Adwords - How To Kill Click Fraud Effortlessly

by Fabian Tan

Click fraud is a major, major problem. Adwords users face it more than most. Someone constantly clicks on your ad, and you foot the bill. Many Adwords users have been victims of click fraud. While Google tracks fraudulent clicks, unfortunately even they can't pick up everything. Millions of dollars have been lost in trying to combat click fraud.
The solution is to block IPs in Adwords from seeing or clicking on your ads. You are limited to 20 IPs. But how do you find these 20 IP addresses that are responsible for those fraudulent clicks on your ad? How do you stop them from clicking on your ads?
The best way to do this is to use a program called Adwatcher. With their exclusive Fraud Blocker protection, you can identify and block suspicious IP addresses from ever clicking on your ads again.
Another way you can reduce click fraud drastically is to turn off the 'Content Network' option. A lot of click fraud happens on content networks and you can reduce your chances of being a click fraud victim dramatically by turning this (often derided) option off.
If you think you are still experiencing a lot of clicks but no sales, then contact the Google Adwords team (or MSN or Yahoo, if you are using those) immediately. They will be able to help you by investigating deeper into the clicks you are receiving.
So start right away, cut your ad costs and eliminate those fraudulent clicks. It could explode your return on investment and ultimately, your profits.
