Writing Your Own Ebook - The Basics

by Jo Mark

In this era of fast food, music downloads, and online shopping, people want stuff and they want it now. Everyone is in a hurry. In this get-it-now culture, ebooks have become a very hot commodity. They sell extremely well in this environment. They have not yet overtaken traditional book sales, but that time may come.
Writing an ebook has become a very popular (and profitable) thing to do. All you need to get started is a computer with a word processor and spelling checker. You do not have to be a great writer. In fact, there are a number of methods to get other people to write your ebook for you.
Your ebook does not have to be long. I have seen a number that are no more than 15 pages and sold for as much as $47. The price you get for your ebook depends upon the information you provide and the demand that exists for that topic.
If you are planning on writing an ebook, you would do well to determine what types are selling well before you begin your project. It is unfortunate, but many people do it the other way around. They write only to find that no one is interested in the subject. In that situation, few sales occur and the ebook sits in their computer collecting digital dust. You are much better off by doing your researching first, and writing afterwards. There are many methods you can use to find out which subjects sell well. My ebook, for one, has an excellent section on how to find hot selling topics.
After completing the first draft of your ebook, it is important to run it through your spelling and grammar checker. Most word processors make these features available. If yours does not, you can easily find alternatives by doing a search. Many of these options can be downloaded for free. After using your spelling and grammar checker, proofread it slowly and carefully several times. This is very important because if you write the word 'tell' in your ebook, your spelling checker will not recognize this as a misspelling, even though you intended to write the word 'sell'. Good luck with your ebook, I hope you make millions!

Why You Must have Patience When You Start Your Own Work From Home Business

by Corey Bergeron

What do you think is the difference between a successful entrepreneur and a unsuccessful entrepreneur?
I will tell one thing, it is not luck. The difference is a successful entrepreneur makes their own luck.
What I mean by that, is that if you want to make good money working from home, you need to stay focused on the task in hand. You will never make money with your online business if you don't advertise the Bajesus out of it.
More often then not, most people have a really awesome website set up and have a killer product to sell but fail and give up because they did not promote their business enough.
Another reason why future business owners fail is because they threw more money into the marketing pot then they could afford. Expecting to see a faster turn around on their investment. If you are not careful and you jump right into the sea of opportunities, the home-based business professionals will chew you up and spit you out.
I believe the most important thing you must possess when it comes to online marketing is the proper training and the patience to let the SEO take its course.
The definition of SEO or "Search Engine Optimization is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via "natural" ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results.
Usually, the earlier a site is presented in the search results, or the higher it "ranks", the more searchers will visit that site. SEO can also target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, and industry-specific vertical search engines.
Basically it is saying that you have to be patient and let the spiders find you. Sounds kind of creepy but it is true. The easier you make it for the spiders to find you, the quicker your business will get off the ground.
By far the best why to make the spiders or bots find you is through keyword stuffing. I do this by writing blogs or articles and placing certain keyword phrases into the content of the blog or article. Google loves blogs and they love blogs that are saturated with keyword phrases.
Plus the great thing is that you can do all this totally free. You can throw money into if you want your website to rank faster. Depends how desperate you are to start making money with your site.
Your Money Maker
When I first started my home based business, I knew nothing about online marketing. All I knew was that I was sick of the same old thing day after day. I needed to do something or I would go crazy trying to live pay check to pay check. Now I can say I am liven it up pay check to pay check.
Life is too short to wait for something good to happen to you. You are in control of you own fate. So take charge of you life and go for the gold.

Why Keyword Research Is Vital For Your Website's Growth

by Liam Schembri

In a world where a website exists for almost every niche imaginable, choosing the right keywords can be extremely difficult and confusing. As Google is constantly introducing new methods to eliminate spam websites, you must be careful not to "overstuff" your website with keywords as the search engines will likely mark it as spam and remove your website and it's related pages from their listings altogether.
Many people underestimate the importance of keyword research. They believe that the search engine rankings are meant to be determined by the search engines themselves, but this is far from the truth. So why is keyword research vital for your website's growth?
Keyword research is incredibly important and will determine your website's rankings in the search engines, ultimately affecting your traffic and overall profitability. Simply put, having relevant keywords on your website will result in it ranking higher for your chosen niche, ultimately attracting targeted (and profitable) visitors. It is the single most important aspect of search engine optimization (SEO) and is what many webmasters spend the majority of their time online working on.
Conducting proper keyword research will give your website and/or online business a huge advantage over your competitors. There are many factors to consider during this process, including:
• What your target market is searching for
• Variations of keywords including misspelling and keywords wrapped in quotes (e.g "This is a quotation keyword")
• What keywords your competitors have already targeted
If you find that keyword research is too difficult, it is recommended that you contact a professional SEO company to do the work for you. At the expense of a few hundred dollars, this will ensure that your website is optimized and ranks in it's best possible position.

Why Content is King in SEO

by Rama Krishna

If you log on to the internet now and look for tips on how to improve the rankings of your website in the search engine results, you will come across hundreds of websites with one word in common, SEO.
SEO seems to be everywhere. And in most of the sites that claim to help you with SEO, you will come across one sentence, 'content is King in SEO'.
• Why is content so important in SEO?
• How do you use content to get you on top of the search engine rankings?
• Is it a daunting task?
Well, for starters it might seem like the most difficult thing to do on earth. But once you get the hang of it, it becomes far easier than the rest.
How it works
Lets say, you sell electronic consumer goods on the internet and your website has everything from televisions to cellular phones. Now, there are a lot of search terms that can land a user on your website and thereby proceed to a sale.
But unless you have a page that is optimized with that search term, the spider won't pick up or list your website in the first place. So for each search term that relates to the stuff that you sell on your website, you need to have an optimized page.
They may be extremely closely related like 'Sony Television' or 'Television Sony'. In this case, the words can lead them to the same page. But even if it is slightly different like 'Sony Bravia Television', there needs to be a separate optimized landing page for it.
Updates
There are several other strategies besides the above mentioned one of course. Updating the content on your website regularly is another one of them.
If you update the content on your website regularly, the spider has more chances of scanning your page and listing it in the results.
Getting the top result is the holy grail but even a spot in the top 30 can be sufficient.

Why Blogging is the Best Internet Marketing Tool

by Denise M Palmer

You can find just about anything and everything under the sun in the many blog pages and blog after blog. Online advertising tapped into the tremendous potential, as blogging became more and more popular, as did the every growing audience. The outline below describes 5 reasons why doing business online by blogging, is the best Internet marketing tool today.
Blogging arrived on the Internet marketing scene in the late 90s. It originated as a way to Blogging and Internet Marketing comment on an existing webpage, an opportunity for visitors and readers to react or voice their opinions. It opened the door for real-time, 2-way conversations, even highly charged debates, among bloggers and blog visitors. Blogging has evolved into pages and pages, blog after blog of personal opinions on just about anything and everything under the sun. As it became more and more popular, online advertising tapped into the tremendous potential and ever growing audience. Doing business online today by blogging, is a smart choice for the following 5 reasons.
1. Blogging is easy.
The simplest way to get your information, your products, and your services on the Internet is through blogging. No special skills are required... most Internet users can read, type and at least click a mouse. Think of a blog as a virtual tablet of paper and you simply write your ideas, experiences, new products, and service descriptions down and if well written, the truth behind your articles will entice your readers, or blog visitors, to want to know more about you and what you have to offer. So basically, if you have a computer and an Internet connection (who doesn't?) then you can blog and advertise.
2. Blogging is authentic.
In this day and age where advertising saturates our lives, we question the credibility of most advertising claims. However, in the , your blog content will represent a Blogging and Internet Marketingmore personal aspect of who you are and what you have to offer, establishing your credibility up-front. Reading blogs about first-hand product use is like talking to people about their first-hand experience. Consumers want to purchase with confidence. Your potential customers will "get to know you" first, then naturally want to buy from you once you earn their trust.
3. Blogging is free.
There are many reliable and respectable companies offering services which include hosting and blog (CMS). With a free blogging service you can create a professional and profitable blog at no cost. Any opportunity for free Internet marketing tools is definitely a bonus especially for a start-up business. Needless to say, there are also and they too have their advantages. These services may warrant your considerations either once you get your free blog generating revenue, or if you know up-front your blog will require advanced functionality.
4. Blogging builds credibility.
Your blog readers want credible information, answers to their questions and solutions to their problems. Blogging about your experiences and skills in a particular industry, regularly, will ensure your readers they can depend on you to give them what they want. As such, you become an expert that they routinely turn to; the benefit is that more readers visit your site and more bloggers link to your blog. As companies and professional organizations notice the growth of your readership base, they may soon get in touch with you for advertising on your blog page, or make you an affiliate, which pays for every referral generated from your blog site.
5. Blogging builds your market share.
Unless you are already famous, chances are, only your Mom and close friends are reading your blog. Mom has a lot of friends, and your friends have friends, and they let them know how interesting your blog site is, but you can't depend on this circle of blog visitors to sustain your profit base for long. You should be using the following to build your market:
-E-mail - Today, is rapidly surpassing the popularity and effectiveness of email to quickly and effectively reach your target market. In this age of speed and quick access, logging in and downloading email is simply taking longer than clicking into a blog. Long gone are the days where we email pages and pages of information. You can now, simply shoot a very short email with a link to your blog where they can find the information in its' entirety. Also be sure to include a signature in every email you send, to anyone, with a link to your blog.
Blogging and Internet Marketing-Subscriptions - An easy way to build your blogging audience, which in turn increases your market share, is to offer readers a . As a subscriber, they can receive email notifications when you update your blog, or when you have "special" offerings for subscribers only. It is very important though, to be responsible with your subscribers email addresses. The last thing you want is a comment on your blog that you are a spammer.
-Understand your readers - It's important to be knowledgeable and constantly monitor your readers needs and wants. A simple survey, every few months will aid you in keeping your finger on the pulse of what your readers will benefit from the most. Additionally, you'll be able to gather profile information and advertising preferences. By asking your readers to give you feedback on a post, an ad link, or a trial that you shared, it's like interviewing your readers without the commitment and intrusion of a face-to-face interview. Your readers will also appreciate the fact that you care, and you are willing to listen to them, especially when you implement things on your blog specific to their feedback.
-Join a blog network - Be active and productively participate in a that share the same industry, interest, readership base, payment mode, etc. Consumers find credibility and convenience in clicking one link to several real bloggers about a single subject. The links back from these relative blogs will improve your search engine optimization and at the same time, help build even stronger credibility for you with your blogging audience.
-Use RSS Feeds - RSS feeds are the fastest growing technology on the Internet today. As such, having to your blog is definitely another means of generating awareness for your readership base. Having a variety of feeds can add interest to your blog site and offer your readers the ability to zero in on the exact information that is of most interest to them.
Give your business a boost by effectively using blogging as an Internet marketing tool.
Put your blog readers needs first, build a strong, credible base and become the authority in your niche and the profits will naturally follow.

What Really Makes MLM Business An Opportunity A Newbie Cannot Refuse

by Derrick Teng

Multi- level marketing or MLM is still one of the most attractive businesses ever made know to human. MLM offers the opportunity to become involved in a system for distributing products or concepts to consumers.
Concepts such as offering people a way to earn money online, get rich-quick scheme and other so-called proven system to earn real money are some of examples of a MLM company that closes sales on concepts.
Unlike a person might choose to start a business from scratch and does not have the right connections or support to survive, being part of a MLM system allows a participant the support he or she ever needs in a MLM company.
As an MLM participant, you make your money by selling the MLM products to other MLM participants. Besides earning money off your own sales, you also earn a percentage of the income generated by the distributors that you've brought into the MLM company (your downline).
Also, there are bonuses for hitting sales target of MLM product or for signing up a certain number of new members.
However, in order to thrive in this genre of business, a participant needs to have the right skills, personality and the right networks. Because of those criteria, there are little stories of success that can be talk about.
Fortunately, there emerges a new bloodline that combines the use of internet and the way how MLM works. Due to the new merger, many ordinary people have successfully build streams of passive income.
This is the reason why many ordinary and anybody can become richer easier because of the removing of platforms of criteria. By using the internet, one need not to be eloquent or having the right connections to make it.
Because many criteria have been removed, anyone or everyone could earn unrealistically huge amount of real money through the internet simply by following proven system that were continually tested and tried.
The moment internet merges with MLM, it changes the way how sales are concluded. The process of generating leads to filtering down prospects and the thoughts of cold callings, meetings up and often occur nasty rejections don't exist anymore.
People often asked what they do in a MLM business when they no longer are required to make cold-calls, and setting huge amount of time aside to meet prospects or make presentations.
Well, just like in any business, business owners or participants in this internet MLM business are still required to work hard and smart.
You have to show the benefits of the combination of internet and MLM and how it allows the exact opposite of clinching sales. Instead of cold-calling leads, we drive them or traffic to our product page or squeeze page.
A squeeze page consists of the concepts of those mentioned above. The main purpose of it exists to filter out leads to prospects to people who really desire to sign up under you as your downline. In other words, they pay for your opportunity or product that you have to offer.
This way, there is no chance of being rejected as your squeeze page will filter out those willing and those not willing. This is another crucial attractive point your leads want to know about. You either assists them in making their problems easier or help them solve their difficulties.
After becoming members of your downline, the next process starts. You have to ensure that they understand how to replicate this system. Being able to offer supportive help through physically and non-physically is extremely important for your unique success proposition.
Not only must you be able to offer technical support, the human or emotional side of encouragement is vital to your re-occurring income.
You are in the Leadership Development Business. Your job is to develop and train leaders. The more leaders you have in your team, the higher your income will be.
You make more money when you develop and train leaders instead of marketing your company's products. That's where the law of multiplication made manifest!

What Is Affiliate Marketing?

by Omo Agwaye

Affiliate marketing to some people might be a very hard nut to crack. This is largely due to the fact that the concept might seem quite simple in definition but could be more complicated in its implementation. My purpose here is to present affiliate marketing is simplest terms thereby making it less difficult to comprehend.
Affiliate marketing entails finding products of merchants and getting customers to purchase those products. From that point, you earn a commission on that sale. The commissions for the affiliate products are always set by the merchant or product owners, and as a result, it is advisable for anyone thinking of entering into the affiliate marketing business to pay close attention to the commission the product owner is offering. When starting out, it is advisable to promote merchants that offer digital or information products that can be easily downloadable. This is because they pay higher commissions and best place to look for such products to promote is Clickbank. There you will get tons of digital products to promote on different topics ranging from sports to money making opportunities.
Affiliate marketing gives you the opportunity to earn truckloads of cash with minimal investments. You don't need your own merchant account, you don't need to pay a website designer and programmer to create a huge e-store, you don't handle customer complaints, refunds or returns. All you do is refer the prospects to the merchant's site and the merchant handles the rest.
On a final note, the fundamentals of affiliate marketing include but not limited to
1. Finding a product that you wish to sell
2. Establishing a landing page to promote that product, and
3. Driving targetted traffic to the landing page. This is the most important of all.You can only make money when you drive laser targetted traffic of hungry and willing buyers to your landing page. You must take your time to learn the strategies of driving targetted traffic to your landing page so as to be able to make money from affiliate marketing.

What Exactly Is An Autoresponder And What Can It Do For You?

by John Reece

An autoresponder is a program that automatically sends emails to your customer base. You can write a given number of emails that can automatically be sent to your customers at regular intervals without any input from yourself. For example, if you wrote a seven part mini course and sent this to any new person that joined your mailing list, each part of the course could be sent at one-day intervals over seven days. This would all be done automatically without you lifting a finger.
Autoresponders do much more than this though:
They also help with automating and building your subscriber list. On your sales page you should place an opt-in form where people can subscribe by simply adding their first name and email address in return for a free quality ebook or short course. This process will all be done automatically by your autoresponder.
You will need to generate an opt-in form from your autoresponder company and position it on your sales page. As soon as someone joins, it will send them an email asking for confirmation of their email address. This process is called double opt-in and is used to cut down on spam because your potential customer has to reply confirming they want to join your list. Once this is done the autoresponder will send them their free ebook or the first part of your free course.
Another great feature of autoresponders is sending out Newsletters or other information to your whole list in one go. This feature is normally referred to as Broadcasts. You write an article and with one click it can be sent to everyone on your list with each email being personalised by the customers first name. The double opt-in process also works this way by automatically addressing customers by their first name, which is a great way of making your messages feel more personal.
There are probably three or four top performing companies out there. You need to be very careful when choosing an autoresponder since you may find a lot of your emails never get through to your customers because of spam blockers. The better companies are always on top of this and are in regular contact with ISP's and Email service providers so their messages always get through.
I have pointed out the main features of autoresponders for you, even though they do have many other uses such as setting up 'Thank You' pages, storing all your subscribers' names and automatically removing them from your list if they wish to be removed.
Without one you will find it impossible to look after your own list as it grows. I cannot stress this enough, autoresponders and subscribers go hand in hand.
After extensively researching autoresponders there was one that stood out for me more than any other. Competitively priced, totally reliable, easy to use features with a great email delivery response making it highly recommendable and in my opinion the best in the market.
Choosing wisely from the beginning is vitally important when selecting one. If you don't get it right from the outset it can be a horrendous task transferring all your subscribers over to another company and the chances are you could lose quite a few subscribers in the process.
My initial research was done extremely well when choosing one for my own business needs. I singled out an autoresponder that is regarded as one of the best in the marketplace. It does everything I could possibly want and will definitely play a major part in my business life for the foreseeable future.

What A Suitable Extranet Solution Is Made Of

by Shahab Kaviani

Today, a suitable company intranet for small or medium-sized business comes with this profile:
> Does not require big capital investment
> User-friendly
> Easily accessible from any PC connected to the internet
> Web-based applications; no need to install and manage servers;
> Compatible with any browser and platforms
> Top-notch security
> Provides tutorial support and a consistent back-up system
> Packed with complete collaboration and communication tools, such as: Email capability, Disk Storage, Documents and Contacts Management, Online and Group Calendar sharing, Task List, Announcements, Opinions and Forums Panel, etc.
> Available for customization
> Synchronicity with Outlook.
Does yours come close?
For a small or medium-sized business, its collaboration needs should not be costly. Unlike its larger counterparts, a growing business does not have enough resources to finance expensive IT infrastructures for collaboration or online communication. However, contrary to this apparent lack, most small of medium-sized businesses still pattern their needs after those of larger companies, falsely believing that high-end solutions, or those that were written by more popular geeks are often the best; thus they end up spending excessively for bells and whistles, which they could not use.
To break away from this mold, examine other collaboration suites that have just joined the bandwagon of solution providers. In order to toe the line of competition in their favor, most of these newbie solutions provide similar top-notch packages as those high-end providers would, but at "friendlier" prices. Also, a suitableexchange server alternative is carefully designed to cater to the needs of its small or medium-sized client, and pack only those features, bells and whistles that have relevance to its operation.
Experience to Believe!
Mobility is a crucial factor in business; more and more virtual teams are set up to cope with globalization. Apparently, a server-based company intranet lacks the flexibility that the current business trend demands. Experience the difference of a new breed of solution - ASP Company Intranet. Avail of the chance that many ASP company intranet providers allow: hosted solutions 30 days free trial.

Web Banner Advertising Is Not Extinct

by Daryl Campbell

This argument has been raging for awhile. In the early days of cyberspace, internet banner advertising was a hot commodity, then it moved into the not so effective stage, followed by being labeled a relic of the past, and now it has been declared dead by people "in the know". Apparently some of the major news services and mega companies online did not get the memo because they still use banner ads; and quite profitably.
A web site banner is an advertisement in the form of image and text. Though you will see banner ads placed in a variety of different areas, they are commonly used at the top of a webpage. This technique maybe considered a holdover from when internet banner advertising was in its glory days but it really serves a more practical purpose. The top of the page is where you are most likely to attract the attention of your visitors.
So why the rush to place banner advertising alongside the fossil remains of the tyrannosaurus at your local museum? Part of it is that since the internet moves at warped speed, many people figure something old as web banner advertising cannot be effective or they just never had much success even when these types of ads were in vogue. Whatever the reason, a web site banner (like any form of advertisement) can do a nice job of promoting your products or services, when used effectively. Use one or a combination of these tips to get you started.
1. Land of the Free
This word does something to all of us. Mainly it gets us to explore further. Advertise a free giveaway on your web site banner related to your target market. Offer a free ebook or helpful video that gets people curious to find out more. When they click the ad banner, you can lead them to signup page, with an opt in email form. If your initial free offer is enticing enough, then people will not mind giving you their contact information
2. Free Banner Exchange
The folks over at marketingterms.com have come up with the simplest and best definition of a banner exchange program: "I will show your ads on my site in exchange for getting to show my ads on your site." This is a very cost effective way to get your banner on hundreds if not thousands of other websites. Many banner exchanges will work hard to match your ad banner to a relevant website. Keep in mind this is not always feasible so you may get stuck putting banner ads on your site outside of your niche.
3. Paid Banner Ads
As the name implies you are paying for your banner to be advertised on other websites. The key to ensuring this method yields some good return on your investment is to make sure the website you are advertising on delivers the web traffic they promise. You also want your web site banner to be placed in an area that's clearly visible and not on the same page as ten or twenty other banner ads.
4. Free Traffic Exchange
This too has been labeled passé and ineffective but it works and banner ads are perfect for traffic exchanges. You know of course that for every site you surf you accumulate some type of credit. You can then exchange however many credits you choose for banner impressions (your web site banner displayed on another site within the exchange). Why is this so effective? On average, click thru rates of traffic exchange banners are greater than banner only exchanges. This is one of the great secrets of traffic exchanges that can boost your internet business considerably.
Web banner advertising is not extinct. Like anything else you must go about using it correctly. Offer something for free, do your homework when it comes to free exchanges and paid ads while utilizing the hidden goldmine of traffic exchanges. In the end you will find that web banner advertising, far from being a relic of the past, is still very much alive and profitable.

Ways to Make More Money from Email Marketing

by Mandy Buchanan

Email marketing is a powerful way of promoting your website and making money online, but apart from promoting your products how can you make even more money online with email marketing?
Make More Money Online by Selling Advertising in Your Email Newsletter
One way you can make more money with email marketing is by selling advertising space in your email newsletter to other home-based business and online business owners. This is especially effective if you have a good list as people know that email marketing to a good-sized list is one of the most powerful forms of marketing you can get.
Offer Two Email Newsletters - One to Make More Money through Subscriptions
You can also make more money from email marketing by providing two different email newsletters - a free one and one subscription-based email newsletter. Your subscription-based email newsletter should obviously offer more detailed content and should preferably be provided in PDF or HTML formats that look really professional and more like a magazine than a newsletter. You can then promote your subscription-based email newsletter to your free email list.
Put Your Email Newsletter Online and Use Adsense to Make More Money
Another way you can make more money online is to use your email list to just send out a notice that you have put a new newsletter online and get them to read it online. This way you can also add Adsense or contextual advertising to your newsletter and make more money when people click through to these links as well.
Email marketing is a powerful way to promote your own website and products, but it can also be used to sell advertising space to others or sell a subscription-based email. You could also put your newsletter online and encourage your list to visit the newsletter with email marketing and then use Adsense or contextual advertising that they may click on and make you more money online.

Ways To Find Free Content For Your Website

by Samantha J Jane

Therefore, aside from being informative, your website's content must also be regularly updated. Does this mean that you will need to write content all the time? It won't be a problem for people who have good writing skills but for others, they may be facing additional expenses in order to hire writers who can provide the needed content. The solution would be to find a source for free content.
Fortunately, the need for free content has already been identified. There are now websites and companies that meet this particular niche. They provide free and updated information and they cater to webmasters who need this service. The trick is to find these sources of free content. Here are proven effective strategies in finding these sources.
You must establish a plan for searching information. A good start must be geared towards accomplishing the goals of the website. This means that without goals, the search for information becomes aimless. The website may end up with irrelevant information or useless content. After establishing the goals the next step is to determine the search engines and directories that will be used. It is better to use many search engines or directories to have a better search scope.
The next strategy is to identify the perspective of the writers who make the content. Where do you think will they post their work? What kinds of sites will they want to have their write ups posted? What keywords would these writers typically utilize? And which portals and directories would such writers want to their work to be included? By having answers to these questions, you will be able to determine which leads to follow in order to find informative content.
You can check the following free content providers, always remember that you have to know what you are looking for in order to save time by narrowing down your search parameters. Here are some possible sites.
http://www.web-source.net/free_content.htm
http://www.freshcontent.net
http://www.ideamarketers.com
http://www.articlealley.com
It's very important to use the whole article including the Bio or link section for the proper acknowledgement of the author. Failing to do so is a form of disrespect and may result in copyright issues. Another strategy is to outsource the stream of updated information. There are many websites that provide free RSS (really simply syndication) feeds. RSS can provide fresh news to your site daily on a certain topic that you determine, however you have to install the script for it to work on your site. RSS Outsourcing is faster, automatically updates the website with new content regularly.

Using Your RSS Blog Feed Reader as a Business Networking Tool

by Erin Blaskie

Your feed reader can become a great business and marketing tool for you if you take advantage of what it is has to offer. I have been thinking a lot about how I use my feed reader and I wanted to share the top five ways that I have found.
Here they are in no particular order:
(1) Build a Network - when you're reading other people's blogs, you'll develop a network of like-minded individuals and people who share similar interests. You can also meet people to provide your products and services to and you'll find people who have products and services that you need.
(2) Create Links Back to Your Site - by commenting on other people's blogs, you're creating a search engine ranking fiesta and all roads lead back to you! Page rank is determined by a number of things but one of those things is how many incoming links you have to your website. The more links, the higher you rank.
(3) Gain New Readers - when you comment, a hyperlink is placed to your site on that person's blog. When their readers are reading through the blogger's article and they get to the section where the comments are, chances are they will be interested to see who said what about that entry. Especially if it's something that is borderline controversial! If these people like what you said, they'll most definitely click through to learn more about you.
(4) Keep Up with the Latest Trends - good bloggers will be writing about the things that they think people need to know about. Capitalize on this by watching what people are blogging about. Most often, you can pick up a trend and this will give you some hints and ideas as to what YOU should be blogging about.
(5) Build Up Your Expert Status - when you comment on other people's posts and you offer some of your own advice, people will begin to view you as an expert in your own industry. The one thing to remember though is that you should make your comments count. Commenting on blogs just to say "Nice post" won't get you the same attention.

Using Forum Marketing For Traffic Generation

by Shane V Purcell

Forums are websites that are set up for people to have an on-going conversation regarding their personal experience within the subject of the forum. earch for your main keywords with the term "forum" added to it. Be sure to use both Google and Yahoo to make sure your using the highest ranked forums online. You discuss issues with people in your area of business.
The marketing part comes from what is called a signature file. In your signature, you are allowed to post links to your websites. You are permitted to use only certain things in your sihnature file, so be sure to read the specific forum rules prior to posting. here is how to market yourself on forums:
Post 4-5 times daily with valuable information immediately upon joining the forum.
Do not post your signature file until a week after first posting. All of your previous posts will automatically add your signature file, so don't worry about losing valuable work, or having to go edit previous posts.
There are two types of code used in signature files to generate a link on a forum:
Html link:

Forum code link: [url="url"]
To market on a forum, you don't market at all. This might sound odd, but it's the honest truth. You simply give honest and useful information and you will receive visitors to your website. Once you fill up the forums in your niche, broaden it. Selling online is something we all do and has hundreds of forums.
Some forums have an area where you can post your services or products. Do not post to these until you have generated some decent posts. If you join to a forum and head straight for the advertising section, you'll get very bad results. Wait until you add your signature file and then post in the advertising area.
You can use Dmoz to find a list of forums to post to.

Using Ezines To Promote Your Website

by Nina Greene

An ezine is essentially an internet magazine or newsletter. Ezines already have a huge subscriber list of targeted people that you can send your message to. These are subscribers that have requested that the ezine be e-mailed to them so they are highly targeted. Ezine advertising is an effective method of driving targeted traffic to your website and increasing your sales. This form of website promotion is something that many beginners either do not know about or just overlook.
Even if you are not a beginner, if you are not getting the sales results you are wanting with your current website promotion methods, then ezine advertising is for you. This strategy is commonly used by successful internet marketers everyday. In fact, some website owners use this method exclusively with great results so it's potential cannot be underestimated.
To find advertising opportunities do a search for ezines that are directly related to your niche market. A search for "ezine advertising" will return thousands of different ezines. There are plenty of ezine directories and search tools available so you will have no trouble finding any. When you have done this, target the popular ones that have a large subscriber list.
A subscriber list of at least over 1000 or higher is best. You want your ad exposed to as many people as possible. Choose a few ezines that are within your budget. Choose the SOLO AD option. Ezines offer different types of advertising opportunities but the SOLO AD is the best because you get to send you ad to the entire list of subscribers all by itself. The ad space is not shared with anyone else so you get the subscribers undivided attention.
If you need help writing your ad, review other ezine advertisements to get ideas and examples. Think about the group of people that you are trying to attract when you are writing the ad. Focus on the people who would most benefit from your product or service. Your headline should attract attention and curiosity. Asking questions and using action words are most effective. Include the major benefits and features of your product or service in your ad.
Free is a commonly used word that attracts attention so try using it where appropriate such as when you have a free ebook or ecourse to offer. Keep your ad short and specific, as you will be limited in the amount of space that you will be allowed to use. Give the reader some direction as to what you would like them to do. For example, click here, sign up here, or visit this.
It is advisable for you to track the effectiveness of each ad you submit so that you know which ones are producing the best results and you can quickly abandon the ones that do not produce. Ezines produce good results but your results will vary depending on your headline, content, and overall structure of the ad. You should continue to test and modify your ads to find out what works and what doesn't. Use ad tracking software to assist you in tracking the effectiveness of your ezine ads and any other forms of advertising that you are using.

Unlock the Power of Google AdWords

by Jay Vee

Do you have a marketing plan in place for your Internet business? What type of marketing avenues do you use? Where do you advertise? What customers do you target? It is a good idea to review your marketing plan even if you already have one in place. Why? You may not be reaching out to the right customers in the right places at the right times.
One way to find the right customers in the right places at the right times is to engage in a Google Adwords campaign. What is Google Adwords? Google Adwords is a way to advertise your product or services on the Internet. Essentially, Google Adwords enables you to target quality customers through the Internet. Google Adwords is a powerful marketing tool because 89% of Internet users search through the Google search engine.
Have you run a search in Google? The Google Adwords advertisements are those advertisements along the right hand side of the search results page. Google Adwords advertisements are under the "Sponsor Links" headings. Why aren't the links in the basic search results? The reason is that those links are links that Google has found on the Internet. Those links are based on how Google ranks your website.
Google Adwords are called "Sponsor Links" because you pay for them. However, the payment system is very different from most advertising plans. In Google Adwords you "bid" for advertisement placement. Your "bid" is the amount of money you are willing to pay-per-click. In other words, you pay Google each time someone clicks on your advertisement.
There is no cost to setting up a Google Adwords account. The only time you pay money is if somebody actually clinks on the link in your advertisement. The beauty of Google Adwords is that your advertisements reach quality customers. In other words, a customer runs a search on Google. Let's say they search the keywords of "Dog Training". Your Google Adwords advertisement would only appear in the "Sponsor Links" section if your advertisement was related to dog training. Therefore, the customer is already looking for your product or service when your advertisement pops up.
Advertising in this manner saves you time and money. Another example would be real estate. Let's say you have a real estate website. Google Adwords enables you to target customers by location. You can specify what geographic areas you want to see your advertisement. For example, you may only want to display your Google Adwords website to customers searching for real estate in Chicago.
You always have the option of displaying advertisements to any location around the world. Do keep in mind that 90% of Internet buyers come from the United States, 5% from Canada, 2.5% from the UK, and 2.5% from Australia. Unlock the power of Google Adwords and your client list will explode with quality customers. A quality customer leads to increased profit.

Understand Google Adwords - Killer tips

by Jeff Spires

Article Contents:
To get the most out of Google Adwords, first you must understand how Google works. By not taking these simple first steps, you could quite easily find yourself struggling to make a profit using Google Adwords. This is simply because Google wants to reward user that do everything by the book. So, the more that you understand Google, the better position you will be in.
Google Loves Relevancy:
So many advertisers forget what Google is all about, they forget that Google is a technology company, not an advertising company. In fact, the only department in the entire Google company that deals with paying customers is the AdWords department.
So, what does this tell us?
Google Loves Relevancy, they always have and always will! They will always be working for the end user. The users that search using Googles interface. This is where their main focus is, as it's these users that make Google what it is. Take them away and you have nothing. In fact, it's only because Google is all about user experience, that makes Google the number one search engine. When a user search's for 'Cheap Homes To Rent In Essex' Google does it's best to provide that user with the most relevant results.
What Does This Mean For Your AdWords Ads?
Make them relevant! Again, Google is all about relevancy, which means that they are happy to reward you for being relevant. Within the Google Adwords structure, Google will reward you by increasing your Click Through Rate (CTR) and your Quality Score (QS). It is these two factors that will determine how much you pay and your ad position.
Important Areas to Cover:
Here are a few things that you need to know about Google.
- Google WILL check your campaign manually! this is important to know because Google have a set guidelines as to what your landing page should be like. If one of the Google admin members comes to your website, and finds that your landing page is not in compliance with their criteria, then this will effect your quality score.
- Make Everything for the end users. Once again, this comes back to relevancy. If your landing page matches the content of your ad, and your ad matches the keyphrase that gets typed into Google. Then you will be seen as highly relevant.
Ok, now you understand what you should do, here's what not to do.
- Don't promote anything illegal.
- Weapons or Violence
- Sexual Content or Prostitution
- Drugs / Steroids / perscription
- Gambling
- Knock off or counterfeit goods
- Answers for educational tests
- scams
- AdSense Template
- Donation Site - Unless Government.
ReCap:
- Make your ads relevant to the search & make your landing page relevant to your AdWords ad.
- Avoid having AdSense & banner advertising on your landing page.
- Make everything about thee end user!

Top 10 Tips For Designing Your Holiday Email Campaign

by Karen Scharf

If you haven't started planning your holiday email campaign yet, what are you waiting for? Your competitors have had their plans in the works for weeks now. Here are a few ideas to help get you started:
1. Plan to start sending your campaign at the beginning of November if you want to capture early holiday sales.
2. Send your email consistently and often but keep an eye out for list fatigue. There is a lot of extra competition at this time of year, and a lot more clutter in the in-box, so you may have to make multiple efforts just to get noticed.
3. As your holiday sales start picking up, you're going to be too busy to craft enticing email messages. Use an autoresponder system that will allow you to upload all of your messages now and set them for later delivery dates.
4. Encourage in-person shopping. Some shoppers are leery of purchasing online during the holiday rush for fear that their gifts won't arrive on time. If you own a brick and mortar retail location, be sure to invite your email readers into the store for last minute purchases. What about offering on-line purchasing with in-store pick up? Be sure to let your readers know about any extended holiday hours your retail shop will be offering.
5. Remind your readers to purchase gift cards if you offer them. Gift cards remain one of the hottest holiday gift purchases to date.
6. Make every email meaningful. There is so much competition for the in basket at this time of year, don't waste your customers time with promotions that are irrelevant to their shopping habits.
7. Segment your merchandise for easier online shopping. For instance, create categories such as Gifts For Men, Gifts For Children, Gifts Under $50, etc.
8. Segment your mailing list based on what your customers purchased last year so you can personalize holiday gift suggestions. Did your customer buy a gift for a 5-year-old boy last year? Chances are, she'll need a gift for a 6-year-old boy this year.
9. Offer free shipping whenever possible. That's a promotion that most on-line shoppers have just come to expect.
10. Include a "count down" in each and ever email so shoppers know the shipping deadline for their holiday purchases. There's no better way to anger your customers than to have their holiday packages arrive on December 26.
Be sure to take excellent notes of all the activities and outcomes of your holiday campaign to make it that much easier next year. Take notes as you go along, while it's all still fresh in your mind.
Time to implement: Overall, creating a holiday email campaign requires some planning - so get started now! Expect to spend at least several hours designing your plan and another several hours crafting and testing each individual message. In my experience, it takes approximately 4 hours to design, write and test an individual email message.

Top 5 Time Wasters For Newbie Bloggers

by Prince John

Necessary tools can act as distractions and timewasters for bloggers, especially for the newbie bloggers. These five distractions not only waste much time, but also prick the morale of the bloggers.
1. Readership statistics
This week I have only 42 visitors. Last week I had 57. Where have 15 readers gone? Looking over at the blog statistics can take 30-120 minutes/day, even if you have only a few readers. Spending more than 5 minutes a week analyzing traffic statistics is a waste of time.
2. Adsense click count
Bloggers feel worried when they see their Adsense revenue taking a big dip - $ 3.7 in October to $ 1.2 in November. Keep in mind that Adsense revenue is countable only if you have a minimum of 500 daily visitors to your blog.
3. Technorati authority
Your Technorati authority climbed to 5 from 3 in two months. Everyday you spend 30 minutes or more analyzing that numbers. It is really an energy-draining task to obsess over at Technorati back link count.
4. Feedburner statistics
Oh, I have only 6 readers. Let me check where they all come from. One look at the Feedburner count is enough and you need not spend a second analyzing that number.
5. Affiliate programs
Oh, here I have one wonderful affiliate program that can make me big money through my blog. Wrong! Newbie bloggers signup for all the affiliate programs they come across and end up dejected. Using Amazon, CJ and ClickBank is fine. More than that is a waste of time.
Checking statistics and trying out new things are necessary. However, letting them take over most of blogging time negatively affects your productivity and can even prevent you from enjoying your blogging activity.

Title Tags Optimization

by Subhash Bose

Title tag optimization is very important aspect in website promotion. Title tags are very important place for inserting targeted keywords of your website. Every search engine first read the keywords which are present in the title tags. But you should not use more than 90 characters in title tags. Search engine will penalize on your site if your title tags contain many keywords. Always insert the keywords in title tags if same keywords present in the body content. The purpose of title keywords is to give the information about that page. Never repeat the keywords in title tags.
Remember the most of the top listed sites are in top position with their body content only. Content is always king. You should insert the keywords in title tags depending on body content or vice versa.
First select the targeted keywords which you are going to insert in title tags. Once title keywords selection processes completed then write the body content of the page by using those keywords. This is the genuine and result oriented method from last few years and most of the top search engine optimizers adopted this method. Never insert too many keywords in title tags and body content of the page as this is harmful to your web site. Some time your web site gets penalized by banning from their database.
Never try to promote your web site in top search engines which is not useful for the visitors. If your web site fulfills visitors requirements then only your web site generate revenue. Always try to promote your web site by giving first preference to the visitors then search engines then only your web site will get popular and generate the required business.

Tips to Running a Blog for an Optimized Website

by Jonathan Peters

Are you looking for a new way to add some authority and relevancy to your website? There are countless companies and theories out there claiming they discovered the secret trick to uncovering the search engines' algorithms. Each one claims their techniques work best in the field of search engine optimization. The truth is when it comes to search engine marketing; nothing works so well but still is as simple and easy as maintaining a blog.
A blog helps your website by doing one thing and doing it better than any of SEO technique out there. It adds content to your website by regularly bringing fresh, theme related topics and more importantly keywords to a website. Since, your posts will mainly cover business and industry related topics, much of your content features highly sought relevant content. Here are some of the other reasons why you need to start a blog today for your website.
• The first benefit of writing a blog is for your website's visitors. There is no substitution for relevancy in the eyes of the search engines than high volumes of user traffic. Try to write your blog posts about industry news and events, new company products or promotions, public relations efforts, and even general conversations that may hold may hold some value for current and potential customers and clients. The flexibility of blog topics is pretty wide open but try to keep them related to the main theme of your website.
• Add new content frequently and update it often in the form of blog posts, the size of your site will grow with more and more pages gradually being added. Search engines have shown to prefer larger sites over smaller ones. If a website has more pages on a particular subject or topic, then it is a good probability that the website is more of a relevant authority on it over a smaller site. They reward what it considers to be authority sites and hub sites over small potentially spammy sites.
• You'll notice a boost in your rankings because your site is indexed much more frequently by search engine spiders. Since blog posts are added at a high frequency to your website, sometimes three or four times a week, search engine spiders will visit your site much more often. Regular and frequent indexing has been shown to increase a site's relevancy and in turn raise in the search engine rankings.
This is especially true for Google which almost always provides a boost in rankings to websites that are updated frequently. Their algorithm applies a fresh content bonus in their ranking factors for blogs are updated so frequently, even more so to ones done on a daily basis.
• Your site gets an extra SEO boost from a well thought keyword friendly blog post title. A good title needs to be able to achieve two things for your website. It needs to be rich in keywords helping the search engines understand what the post will be about since the title is the first thing the spiders will "see". Many blog hosts use the post titles as part of an individual page's URL. Secondly and most importantly, a well thought blog post title needs to grab the attention of any potential and reader and keep it. There is no point in writing a blog post if no one is going to read it. A great title is a good place to start.
• Blog posts usually have something to do with the website's theme and main topics. As a result, your blog posts tend to be very heavy with your website's most important keywords and keyword phrases. So, there is a good chance that every time you write a new blog post you will be adding relevant topics rich in keywords dealing with your market. Adding keywords to your site in this manner is looked upon by the search engines in a much better light through latent semantics than randomly dropping keywords into unrelated content. If your website has keywords placed in content unrelated to your website's overall theme, there is a good chance you will end up being penalized for spammy practices.
As you can clearly see, the future of owning a relevant website is moving towards maintaining a blog on it. There is no replacement for its powerful and frequently updated themed content and its authority status for their most important keywords in your market. Something no other search engine optimization services can offer.
Anyone who owns a web site will tell you that a good looking, user friendly website is only the just first step towards owning a profitable one. This is where the experienced Scranton website designers, MysticLiquid come in. Visit them at www.mysticliquid.com.

Things to Avoid When You Deliver Search Engine Optimization Services

by Markus Skupeika

"Too much of a good thing can sometimes be bad." That goes for eating too much, and that goody one-liner can apply well with search engine optimization services. If you push SEO strategies too far, they can become problems rather than solutions, and when you scrimp on matters that need additional details, you could fail altogether.
The secret therefore is to apply your strategies in moderation. Learn when to proceed, as much as develop the resolve to stop when it becomes necessary:
Minimize the number of links on your content:
Keep to the 3-link rule when you write content. Spread these bottom, middle and up of your entire content, and limit words between 400 and 600 only. Lengthy articles peppered with too many links repel rather than attract online viewers.
Stop repeating keywords:
Keyword density can work like magic to improve search engine rankings but it should be managed efficiently throughout your content so as not give the impression of overlay. Avoid repeating the same keywords in successive paragraphs.
Keep titles short.
Titles should be catchy, and reasonably short; characters, including spaces on Titles should be kept within the 60-70 range.
Don't scrimp on page introduction.
Each page should have a short introduction about its content, rather than simply say "References" or "Contact Us". Putting two-liners with a keyword, describing what the page is all about won't hurt.
Be smart with search terms; go for search phrases.
Online users nowadays search for information on the internet using group of words that describe what they want. This is something to think about. What are those search phrases that most likely a user would use when he searches for your type of product, service or idea?
Link deep, link more.
Do not take link building lightly. It is one major factor if you want to improve search engine placement of your site. Build links with relevant websites; in fact, gather links everywhere provided those sites where you get your links from have not violated search engines rules.
Design or Text?
Another factor that can hamper your chance to improve your sites search engine placement is its design, which may appear too crowded on a page, leaving a little space for text. Between design and text, prioritize the latter as this is what crawlers for the search engines get attracted to. Flash designs may give your website its aesthetic value but in the long run, it poses as risk in losing traffic since it slows down the search experience of your online users who could have the patience of a 3-year old!
Conclusion
Search engine optimization is a tricky business; nobody can safely claim he has mastery over strategies, as strategies are bound to change depending on how fast the whole online experience evolves. What you should do is learn things as they come; build on your knowledge and the experience, which other people will generously share, and be mindful about the pitfalls of others.
Know where others went wrong, but don't repeat them!

The Secret Tips And Methods To Successful Ezine Ads

by Joe E. Giannetti

Ezine solo ads can be very profitable and dead easy to do if you're promoting any affiliate product. It doesn't require as much analytical knowledge as pay-per-click or SEO, but you still have to apply the proper methods to generate a lucrative ROI from ezine solo ads.
How does it work? You simply buy or pay a newsletter publisher to send your ezine solo ad to their mailing list.
The price depends on factors such as the number of subscribers, the quality of the leads (customer lists are much more responsive than normal subscribers), or the popularity of the ezine. Your ad is exclusive, and doesn't contain other advertising or messages unless you permit it.
Here are some great tips to maximize the profitability of ezine solo ads:
1) The subject line is the most important part. They won't read the rest of your solo ad if the subject line is not interesting enough to grab their attention and entice them to read further.
2) Write the most hypnotic and benefit-laden words in all caps, but don't overdo it. This will allow the reader to take more notice of the words in all caps. For example, you could say, "This BLOWOUT offer will end after 48 hours, so GRAB IT NOW if you want to take advantage of one of the best deals ever." If they're only skimming, they will at least see, "BLOWOUT...GRAB IT NOW."
3) Create a sense of urgency and scarcity. An example would be telling the readers that the offer is limited to the first 10 (or whatever number you decide) customers only, or up to a certain date or time.
4) Format the ad up to 60 characters only for a more convenient reading experience. You may use a free service like formatit.com.
5) Follow the short paragraph rule. Short paragraphs make it easier for the eyes of the reader and are easier to understand. Paragraph should be a maximum of 4 lines only.
6) Add the most convincing testimonials if they can add "power" to the solo ad.
7) Make your ezine solo ad short in scope, if possible. The longer the ad, the more prone it is to be caught by the email filters. Treat the solo ad as a teaser that directs the reader to visit the sales letter. However, a long solo ad is not a bad idea if it's necessary, as long as you pass it through a dependable spam filter.
8 ) Put a "P.S." or two that contains the biggest benefit or strongest call to action.
9) Make sure the solo ad passes through a reliable spam filter. If the person sending the solo ad has a sophisticated autoresponder (like aweber), the ezine solo ad can be checked for any spam-triggering words before being broadcasted.
10) Advertise only in ezines or newsletters that are identical to the topic of the affiliate product you're promoting. Here are recommended sources where you can place your ezine solo ads or negotiate with ezine publishers:

The Proprietary 5-Step System For Generating Cash At Will From Email Marketing

by Fabian Tan

Email marketing is an extremely effective way to raking in cash on the Internet. Here's my proprietary 5-step system to get you on the road to massive email marketing success:
1. Create a few opt-in pages
Target 3 niches and create 3 opt-in pages for them. What's an opt-in page? An opt-in page is simply a page designed to get people to subscribe to your email newsletter. A good opt-in page should have an attention-grabbing headline and captivating bullets. Of course, it should also have an opt-inform to capture subscribers. You'd need an autoresponder to do this. A great one that comes highly recommended is Aweber.
2. Market your web pages
Use article marketing to advertise your opt-in pages. Create 3 different pen names at article directories and submit articles relating to each opt-in page topic to the directories. Articles are a fantastic way to advertise on the Internet because of their viral nature. Bloggers and ezine publishers can use your articles, so it gets your link passed on really quickly.
3. Create a follow-up system
Create automated messages in your autoresponder system so it sends emails to your subscribers on autopilot. Write informative content in your emails so your subscribers will be compelled to keep opening your emails!
4. Send broadcasts to your list
On occasion, send broadcasts to your list with your latest product offer, an affiliate offer, a product review, or even just to give a survey. Broadcasts are a great way for you to build a relationship with your subscribers.
5. Joint-venture with other list owners
Find other list owners in your niche and ask to do a cross-promotion. This means you promote their products to your list and vice-versa. You can find joint-venture partners by searching through Google, forums or the Clickbank marketplace.

The New YouTube AdSense Player

by Kenneth Fietz

Recently, I was updating my blog and upon completing the entry noticed a very cool announcement from Google and You Tube. These two titans of the internet have joined forces to provide a new service for You Tube and Google AdSense users.
The program offers webmasters and Bloggers the opportunity to make additional revenue by placing a You Tube Player on their site. The player will show videos and also provide advertising on the player, provided by AdSense.
Enrollment is really easy if you are already enrolled in Google AdSense, simply add the new program to your account. If you are not currently a site follow through the You Tube site to enroll.
After enrolling in the program, you will be asked a few easy questions and be provided with the tolls to create a custom player for your site. There are several sizes of players available for posting as well as several color options. These options should be compatible for practically any site style. With the information completed, you will click on a box to "get code" for your player. Copy the code and place it on your site and you are up and running and now have a new source of income to your site.
The Good Points:
1. Easy to enroll.
2. Easy to use.
3. Entertainment and advertising to boost sales and leads.
4. You can select the type of advertisers that will be placed on the player.
5. You can add Keyword to help place the proper ads on the player.
6. You Tube and Google are planning on adding more options in the future to really customize your sites player.
The whole process from enrollment to having the player on my site and watching the video was completed in less than thirty minutes.
The Bad Points:
1. You cannot tag videos for your player either by a playlist or by category. If I am wrong about this then the next complaint would be to make those controls more visible to find.
2. The player disappeared on day two and all that was left was a link to watch the latest YouTube Videos- Ugh. I did contact Google and the problem was corrected within 24 hours. You have to go through Google for the problems because the You Tube site does not offer any assistance in this area on their site.
For any site that is using You Tube videos, I would recommend you take a close look at this new service and see if it would be a good addition to your site. Knowing Google and You Tube I would expect that this type of advertising will become more popular as new features are added.

Thematic Website Optimization - Surpass Your Page Rank Limitation And Acquire Top SERP

by Frederrick Abrugart

Groundbreaking "Thematic Website Optimization Technique" will elude Google page ranking criteria on search engine organic search algorithm. Wait no longer to get your website rank high in major search engines. Get the ultimate top SERP for your keywords
Conventional website optimization techniques have not been effective in surpassing page ranking limitation that prevents low page ranking sites to get better SERP even for low volume keywords. Thematic Search Optimization was introduced by Frederrick Abrugart, director of Search Marketing Sales Ltd, a certified SEO firm based in Australia.
Thematic optimization is a unique search engine optimization technique that uses the combination of keyword analysis with linguistic theme approach; organic optimization with keyword-link strategy. This cutting-edge website optimization will optimize a website inside-out giving search engine robots extremely strong signal of keyword relevance hence giving the best search engine result placement.
Linguistic theme approach is the method to create keyword listings that self-support with each other hence giving an overview of keyword theme on a particular URL. Conventional keyword analysis tends to create keyword listings based only on search volume. Keyword-linking process refers to the application of keyword theme and "site framework" optimization to develop a keyword-rich and keyword-linking relevance signal to search engine bots when the URL or domain is crawled. Thematic optimization will produce a fully optimized URL irregardless whether the search engine bots crawl the page from top-bottom or top link depth to deepest link depth. Sites optimized using thematic optimization technique will deliver best highest SERP.
Thematic optimization will allow sites of lower page rank to get the better of higher page ranking sites for a given keyword. Inbound links still play a critical factor in deciding a website SERP for a given keyword. However, thematic optimization will out-stretch and outdo a website current page ranking potential giving its highest organic search result possible.

The Importance of Incorporating an RSS Feed In Your Blog Part II

by Sean R Mize

There are many different websites with varied content that use RSS feeds to disseminate information. The commonality among them is that they frequently change their content in order to get the latest up to date news bits up and posted on their news sites or weblogs. This method is also the same one that is being used for distributing content via podcasting. Many users utilize what you call RSS aggregators or newsreaders as a way of subscribing to an RSS feed. Doing so would allow any user to scan or read thoroughly the contents that are posted in news sites and weblogs without needing to actually look or and visit the web site itself. There are also some feed readers that even allow you direct access to all of the RSS feeds that can be found in one source and gives you permission to subscribe to individual feeds that pique your interests.
By this time, you have all the information you might need prior to establishing the RSS feed for your own website. In order to do this, you must first need to create your RSS feed. Find out what kind of content you want to present to your audience. When you have finished typing it up, save it as an xml file on your web server. Before you proceed, you will need to validate your feed. This can be done by using a free validating service that can be found anywhere on the Internet, such as Free Validator. You might also want to use a feed creator that is of professional quality such as Feed Editor. This professional feed creator will make the job easy for you by automating the entire process on its own.
Next, you have to syndicate or distribute your RSS feed. You will have to submit it to all the popular and widely used RSS directories that can be found on the Internet. You should also ping the major services as a way of telling them that you have made certain updates on your RSS feed so they will know that you have just uploaded it with the newest, most up to date content.

The Importance of Incorporating an RSS Feed In Your Blog Part I

by Sean R Mize

Because you want to add fresh content in order to garner more visitors to your blog, you might want to consider incorporating an RSS feed in your blog. What exactly is an RSS, anyway? An RSS file format is something that is part of the XML file formal family and is utilized mainly for syndication. A lot of websites nowadays especially use such RSS file formats as yet another way of distributing their content and disseminating their up to date information to their eager viewers.
Some examples of content that are widely distributed via RSS feed would be the headlines of latest news breaks, business reports, or any other current events world information anyone might be interested in. Sometimes the RSS feed displays just the headline to catch the attention of the reader; other times, they actually put the full content which can be read on the desktop right away. Another version of an RSS feed is also what a lot of people popularly call the podcast. So in actuality, you do not need to be a business entrepreneur or a business mogul in order to fully utilize or appreciate the value of RSS feeds - you can be just a simple Joe who appreciates having up to date information right at your fingertips.
The RSS file format works by using items that have descriptions and a link that directs a person towards the contents of someone's web page. Along with this, the RSS file format also uses standard headers and footers for it to qualify as an RSS feed. If your are looking for the actual file format as stated in this paragraph, we ought to warn you now that it is actually invisible and all the user is able to see is the actual content page filled with the information he or she wants.

The Importance of Having an Autoresponder

by Hugo Fortin

Having an online business can be extremely difficult if you do not have an organized system to keep track of people's names and email addresses which is precisely what an autoresponder does for you. The reason an autoresponder is so important in regards to your internet marketing campaign is because it is vital that you are in constant contact with new and past clients.
It should be a goal of yours to build up an opt-list as big as you can. The more people you have on your list, the better chance you have of maintaining heavy traffic and getting routine return customers. Having an autoresponder allows you to immediately market a new product or program that you are promoting with success.
Knowing that the people in your autoresponder have been interested in something you have to offer before makes things so much easier. You still have to convince them that they need your new product or program, but they will be more inclined to listen knowing that you treated them well in the past.
The most obvious way to build your list for an internet marketing campaign is by offering a membership after the visitor purchases something from you. You can make it a pop-up or something to put on the thank you screen allowing them to sign up. Make it short and sweet saying they can be informed of all of the new specials and deals you have to offer fairly easily.
Another approach to building your autoresponder is to offer something of value for free. There is not a person in the world that does not like free things. Post in forums, on your blog, or even write an article promoting your autoresponder. Say that by signing up for your autoresponder you will give away a free e-book, or a free training course of some sort.
Typically you do not need to acquire too much information anyway. Many people are willing to supply their name and email address, especially when it comes to receiving a free item. As long as you make the autoresponder as appealing as possible and hint toward more free things in the future, it can be fairly simple to build up a hefty autoresponder.
To stay ahead of the game, you should have several different email messages already saved in your autoresponder for the next few weeks. This will save you loads of time and maximize your internet marketing campaign to the fullest. You know when you intend on launching a new product or sending out a new program. Therefore, save yourself the trouble and plan ahead.
Overall, having an autoresponder can do wonders for your internet marketing campaign. It gives you the opportunity to stay in contact with thousands of previous customers with the click of one button. And once you send that email, you are guaranteed to get some return customers.

The Forum Lifecycle and Those Who Monitor Them

by Scott Lindsay

Online forums thrive on the idea of a free exchange of thought. If your business provides a forum you are making it possible for people around the globe to share their ideas and perspectives.
Because a single perspective may be at odds with another divergent idea the employment of one or more moderators is vital. This does not mean that the business owner must moderate it, but they can either hire a freelance moderator or they can accept a volunteer moderator from their membership list.
Forums can and occasionally do get heated with two or more individuals posting material that may be considered inflammatory or simply designed to ruffle feathers. This is where the moderator comes in.
Rules should be posted and pinned (stickied) to the top of your forum categories. These rules should be prominent with strong encouragement to read and abide by them. Failure to follow the guidelines could result in either the suspension or banning of a user in violation of the rules.
Obviously this action is taken as a last resort, but sometimes it is very difficult to rein certain forum members in.
The moderator should use both caution and wisdom in making a decision about the status of a forum member who violates the rules.
Posts that attack a person should be dealt with quickly and, in some cases, should be removed.
Not everyone who signs up for your forum will stay indefinitely. You may even have some members who will sign up look around and never post. Other member can best be described as lurkers. These members are content to read other posts, but rarely provide their own feedback. This may be a matter of comfort or a simple desire to learn what they can without becoming overly involved in a community such as a forum.
The third group of members will likely be the smallest percentage of participants. These members will be active and will spend a significant amount of time with the forum and will respond when others have a question or comment. It is typically from this small pool that you may find your volunteer moderators.
You should also know there is a certain lifecycle to forums. You may find a burst of participation from a core group of members that can last several months, but little by little these cyber veterans drop by less and less while new recruits take their place. An established forum will change dynamics multiple times over its existence. This is normal and is to be expected. You may also find there may be a need to replace your moderators from time to time especially if they are volunteer. Their interest may decrease over time or their circumstances might change - always make it easy for them to pursue a new life dynamic by leaving them in the driver's seat when it comes to the length of their involvement.
Don't spend too much time lamenting the changing dynamic because it means you are gaining new interest in your forum and, by proxy, your products or services.
Forums provide an excellent opportunity to reach out to consumers, but it's always in a state of flux. Allow your forum to roll with the punches.

The Autoresponder Outline

by Scott Lindsay

The autoresponder note was short, pointed and just what I wanted to read. In fact, I thought the email was a representation of the near perfect autoresponder message.
Let me break down the elements that make an autoresponder message successful.
1) Order Tracking. The section provides the order number for easy referral if there is a problem with the order. Customers can use this number when contacting the company with any customer service question.
2) A Statement of Intent. This section clearly defines how many emails the recipient will receive to guide them through the product fulfillment process. In the case of this sample that number is three. This number is fairly standard for autoresponder emails
a) Order Confirmation. This email assures you that the company received your order.
b) Order Status. This email indicates that the order is in process and provides an itemized list of purchases and applicable discounts along with shipping related costs.
c) Order Shipped. This email is sent when the product fulfillment team delivers the package for delivery. This generally includes tracking numbers and business contact information should the package be delayed lost or arrived damaged.
At this point the autoresponder notice encourages recipients to white list their emails so future information isn't sent to the spam folder.
Finally the autoresponder message includes a closing note from the customer services department head. In this case there is a statement listed that reads, "My only job is making you happy."
In all the autoresponder message was shorter than the above description. No graphics were included, but the message was caught and digested quickly.
It may be to your advantage to make your autoresponder messages short and without undue marketing statements. After all the reason for the autoresponder is to manage a customer's order once the purchase is actually complete. To go overboard in marketing might be viewed as overkill.
Autoresponders should be designed to assist both the online business owner and the customer. This happens when pertinent information is delivered on a timely basis.
Customers appreciate knowing the status of their order and a three-pronged approach to information delivery can happen in a virtually hands-free environment known as autoresponder.
Does your autoresponder have to look exactly like the sample outline above? No. You devise it any way you want. I simply used this outline to demonstrate one very succinct way to allow your customers to know what to expect, when to expect it and that you will not be sending long-term emails to them without their permission.
I might suggest that if you want to include a marketing angle make that appeal on your last autoresponder email. This email can provide tracking information, but it can also alert customers to ezines or free email services you may offer that may be knowledge-based and desirable. Make sure this is offered as an opt-in function and don't high-pressure these individuals who have already extended their trust in making a purchase.
Autoresponders can be the first line of defense when it comes to providing proactive customer service.

Successfull Affiliate Marketing

by William Lucas

Being a successful affiliate takes work and effort. Part of it is effective promotion and the other is effective marketing of the product and convincing people that it's a product they need. Most of the successful affiliates who are out here making a pretty good profit have the means to access areas online that target people to seek out the product you're trying to promote by using banners that they can click and takes them to your site. Other means is to promote through opt-in email by providing a place that people can fill out and receive information on the product you're trying to promote. Many sites offer affiliate programs that you can take part of and earn a substantial amount per month for every person who signs up or clicks on your promotional banners or responds to the opt-in emails you send. Marketing and promotion will make you a success it also takes a lot of effort to push to stay ahead of other affiliates who are out there and cashing in on many other things.
Some sites will have printed text you can cut and paste to a word processing program and make flyers you can distribute for people to sign up under you as affiliates and whatever they make you also get a percentage of their earnings, and when people sign up with the service or opportunity to sell a particular product you'll make earnings from those who signed under you and you get a percentage of those who sign under your affiliates. It's all about how well you market your products and services through effective marketing and promotion. Another secret to being a successful affiliate is also learning what product or services will stand a chance at being a profitable enterprise. Affiliates also have to be mindful of the fact that spamming can cost them and it's ideal to respect the privacy of internet users when promoting and marketing their products and services so many of them stand a higher chance of success by allowing people to opt-out if they don't want to receive any emails
The pinnacle of a successful affiliate is the ability to keep up with the trend of gaining new affiliates who sign up with your service or purchasing a product you're promoting. The affiliates who stay afloat of the latest products and services that helps other affiliates to gain maximum amount of earnings. Your earnings depend on how well you promote and market the product, service, or website you're trying to get people to look into. Most affiliates can make a good turnout monthly if they push for people to stick to their product or service. The best part of being a successful affiliate is that sometimes the incentive is a discount for the products and services you are marketing and promoting. The discounts can be as much as 25% off something or depending on the company they can offer you more with specific number of clicks from a banner you place on your web page or site and direct people to view it from there.

Starting Your Work at Home Business The Right Way

by Samantha J Jane

There are disadvantages that must be recognized and dealt with, by acknowledging the disadvantages of an online home business, an entrepreneur can put together a much better business plan. With a better business plan, the home business is off to a good start. The right way to start a home business is to fully understand the difficulties that will be encountered along the way and make plans to overcome these difficulties.
Working while in your most comfy wear is attractive because a person need not spend time thinking about what to wear and some savings on the laundry. A work at home business demands no formal uniform which means that any online entrepreneur can wear anything he or she wants.
Unfortunately, what people wear affect their moods and their productivity levels. The comfy pajamas induce a person to laze around and sleep. To avoid this tendency to lower work productivity, the entrepreneur must plan on having a routine before starting to work on his home business. The routine may involve some exercise, a shower, and putting on comfortable and clean clothes.
Having no boss is another great attraction for those considering a work at home online business. No more senseless ideas, no unfounded and biased criticism and the best part, there is no one who will dictate orders on what to do. But this does not mean the entrepreneur answers to no one. As an employee, he or she answers only to the boss. With the work at home business, the entrepreneur becomes the boss and answers to a lot of people such as clients, business associates, and even the family.
In other words, the entrepreneur must still ensure that the set-up and systems of the home business must be working properly and efficiently. The clients must remain satisfied. The business associates must be given more income opportunities. And the needs of the family must be met. And finally, the flexibility of having an online home business makes the entrepreneur own his or her time. The home business owner can easily rearrange the work schedule so that other activities, such as doctor appointment and sporting activities can be done.
But the work needed for the home business does not disappear. If the home business owner spend hours watching television during the day instead of putting together an advertising strategy, he or she may need to stay up late at night to make up for the lost time. To prevent this from happening too often, the business plan should include work hours.

Start an Ezine!

by Evelyn Bennett

An ezine is an online magazine.
If you look in supermarkets and corner shops you will see lots of magazines on many varied subjects from computer gaming to health foods and fashion to photography - there are lots of subjects out there that people, both men and women are interested in. Most, if not all, of these magazines have a subscription option where you can pay for a whole years worth of magazines and have them mailed to you. Most of these magazines do not just have information on the topic in question but also show advertisements for other similar themed magazines. However, they all contain information on that particular subject that they are geared towards. Some of them also have free gifts attached to them each month as a temptation for people to buy, such as demo computer games for you to try out.
All of these ideas have now come to the Internet and ezines are very popular - even the 'real' magazines are being put onto the web for people to read online.
The point I am making is this - if you were to set up an ezine on a particular subject, you could fill it with articles that you have written and affiliating with others and putting their ads in your Ezine would also give you a chance of an income. Rather like a membership site, your customers would have to pay for the ezine either on a monthly basis or a yearly subscription. By having a free e-book each month available to them (where the license permits) would give them a reason to stay and continue purchasing your ezine. You could also have available for sale e-books at a discount price for members only and they could be on various different subjects for the reason that one of your members may want to purchase it as a birthday present for someone.
You do not have to stop at one ezine either - you could have a website with ezines on all different subjects and your website visitors could then choose which ezine they would like to purchase all at one shop - much like a supermarket!
Starting an ezine is just one idea of niche marketing.
