Finding addresses online

by Mary Rosenburg

Do you need to find a residential or business address, or would like to verify the address of a friend? Did you know that the discovery of this information can be as simple as connecting to the Internet, looking for a search service people and carry out a search with one or more brief details?
There are two major search services that can help people locate the information you need and they are as follows:
-- Direct Search
-- Investing phone search
A search forward, also known as a "people finder" search, is a service that can help you discover the right direction, general location and telephone number of an individual. All that is generally required to do is enter the person's name or the name of the company appointed in consultation table. But it can offer the city and / or who are in state, or zip code to search more precise.
A phone reverse search, sometimes called reverse phone search, backwards or a telephone number search, you may be able to provide you the mailing address you're looking for, and can be very useful if I do not remember the name of the person or company name you are looking for. To use this search facility to locate an address, you only need to enter the 10-digit phone number provided in the table for consultation.

You will always be seeking to address both of the above searches, provided that the number of the person or company you are looking belongs to a list (public) telephone number. Therefore, if the number you are trying to locate belongs to a cell phone, he was not provided with this information freely. However, you have a second option with a reverse trace phone that you will not have a search forward - a payment option.
Forward cell phone searches are illegal, since they are considered an invasion of privacy due to the fact that the number is considered private. Therefore, even with interest paid mobile search is prohibited. By contrast, wireless pay a reverse search was legal, because you already have the phone number you want to investigate. Therefore, you can still use a phone line payment invest track to try to find the direction.

Making Money Online - Tips And Strategies

by Fritz Lorenz

Trying To Make money online - although it is simple - is not easy. There is a learning curve. Successful online marketing definitely requires a few hours a day in the beginning of training. The right coaching and mentoring is critical - and the best possible type of program is one where the professional internet marketer (your sponsor) is substantially rewarded for helping the total beginner to make ongoing online sales.
Yes, making money quickly is possible for some new people - but not without taking action and effort in the learning & doing department. Getting rich overnight for a beginner is not a realistic goal with any program. If somebody tells you otherwise - Run for the hills because that person is likely trying to trick you into joining their program.
Having said that - a total beginner can really expect to generate a few thousand dollars every week or so while they are learning everything we teach (earn while you learn)...if they treat there business like a business and are diligent in their study of the tips, tactics and strategies we provide. The good news is that there is nothing special needed beyond the comprehension of an intelligent teenager for you to make this happen.

Some people simply aren't willing to invest a few hours a day for the first couple of weeks learning as much as they can. Of those who do, however, some really do have a realistic chance of generating up to 5 figures their first 4 - 6 weeks in the business (including the time they spend learning what we teach).
By the way, the training can somewhat overwhelmed you by all the information you see. Don't worry. Instead, feel secure in knowing that we can teach you a lot and that you are in the right place to make a future on the internet.
So - if you are ambitious, you have a positive attitude, and you are willing to be a teachable & coachable student - then YES, your dreams can come true ...perhaps not overnight - but how about within a few month's.

Is A Shopping Cart Right For You?

by Cynthia Morse

If you sell products online, chances are you use a shopping cart service, such as 1ShoppingCart or Practice Pay Solutions. Shopping carts help to automate the online purchasing process, making business owners' daily lives much easier. On the other hand, if you only sell services, you may or may not use a shopping cart service. How do you know whether or not you should invest in a shopping cart to help automate your business?
Start with your business, and what you are selling. If you are a coach for example, and you sell only your coaching services in terms of time, you probably don't need a shopping cart. You can still accept credit cards, as long as you have a merchant account.
If, however, you are a coach that also sells products, such as eBooks and audio programs, how much time do you spend processing orders for those products? A shopping cart can not only help you process orders 24/7, but is completely hands-off. You can sell products while you sleep! This saves you time to do what is more important to you, like coaching your clients.

If you sell products of any kind online, it makes total sense to automate the purchasing process with a shopping cart. The shopping cart interface can be customized for your business, so your customers never even know they are being taken away from your site to process their order.
Having recently completed a training course for setting up and maintaining shopping carts, I understand what is involved, and have already helped some of my clients with this time-consuming process. The setup process is somewhat technical, but there are usually helpful support personnel (or your Virtual Assistant) who can guide you, and help you get your shopping cart up and running in no time.

Should You Buy A Domain Name With Your Name?

by Fadzuli Wahab

Domain names used to be a huge business back before the bubble burst in the lates 90s. Even though it is still selling like hot cakes and there are even people who are profiting from it by reselling it today. With most of the single words found in the dictionary already taken, we need to move into a different set of domain particularly after people's name.
So now do you have your own domain name with your name on it? You would be asking why buy a domain name with your name? My name ain't famous nor has it any value. Well all of us know that our names are given by our parents and to some religious believers understand that their names are already predestine by God. Our names carries value and meaning which many would overlook. Such as my name Fadzuli, in Arabic it mean the special one in the family. There may be 20 to 30 others with the same name and spelling in the world. I did do a check on my name. So names like mine do carry uniqueness thus it allows me to brand myself even though I would not win the search engine war immediately.
Have you ever thought that your own name can be worth millions someday. Would you trade it for anything else? I doubt so right. Well if you are already doing Internet Business, you would understand that domain names carry value overtime. If you buy a domain today, it could be worth millions if the name is wanted by someone someday. So imagine if you bought www.billgates.com, if Bill gates might want to own that domain name and would buy it for what is worth millions or even billions because he is worth that much.

So you see, even if today its not worth anything but in the future it might. People might be Googling or Yahooing your name for certain reasons. Maybe because of your work or your achievements. So by having your own domain name under your own name can benefit you because you can attain free traffic all the time. Imagine telling your friend or new contact about your name. " Well if you happen to forget my company's name, just Google for my name and you can find my company too ". Wouldn't that be easy?
Sounds like a crazy idea right but its true. Here's an example. Recently my friend posted an article about "Alisson Stoke", it intrigued me to find out more about this person, so what else did I do right!!. I've Googled for it of course. Today I believe the pole vaulter has millions of hits worldwide. Perhaps the media had helped a lot to publicize her achievements. Whatever it is, it does help to have your own domain because other than Googling, some might even try to type "yourname.com". It has become a habit throughout the years since the Internet started and thus the branding is working very well.
Recently I have helped a friend to buy her own .com under her name, her name is actually quite common in our community but yet its not bought yet. We were actually surprised though and its one of those few one word domains that is still available in the market. So now once you have your domain already, you do need to do some work to get your rankings up.
How to get your name up to the first Google Page. Here's a little SEO tip.
1) Create a blog or site that has track backs or can be pinged easily.
2) Comment on forums or blogs and leave your links there to make sure you have as many back links as possible.
3) Attain a certain level of traffic..
In time to come if you do the above mention methods, your name if unique will be search widely from all over the world. All the best to trying this out. Do get your domain first before someone else buy it!

Do You Have The Internet IQ Needed For Online Business?

by Lee Roshan-Nahad

A big draw for may to online business is the seeming ease at which anyone can make money. It is true that anyone can make money but there is something that may not cross the mind of someone thinking about building an online business; Do You Have The Internet IQ? Or simply put; Do You Know What You Are Doing. I am referring here to the very basics, the fundamentals, the very first steps you need before you even start your potential business.
I'm going to keep this fairly simple and just list a couple of things which you really should know if you are going to build an online business.
-Basic HTML
Now if you're really new to this internet stuff then the mere sight of these few letters may bring horror to your mind. But it really isn't all that big a deal. You don't need to be any kind of "Super Genius" or anything, it would simply be a good idea to do some basic research on what html is, how it works, and how to do it yourself. Just the basics would be enough (unless you are planning to build major websites), you don't need to spend much time, just get the basic understanding.
-Sending Email
This is a very basic skill which you can learn in about thirty seconds if you really wanted to. It is so simple and yet it really is quite important. If you build an online business you will likely be wanting to keep in touch with a great many individuals and in fact there are many situations where you can't do much of anything unless you can send some basic information via email. So this is a real necessity to learn.

-Typing/Copy & Paste etc
Being literate doesn't mean that you are automatically computer literate. You will need to know basics like how to write a word document, how to copy & paste, how to save files etc. These are not difficult to do in fact you could simply type them into a search engine and be given detailed instructions on all of these things.
-Basic Computer Care
This is about taking care of the computer itself. Just some basic knowledge of how to maintain your computer can save you a lot of hassle and expense. Considering that your entire business will likely be run from your computer, it is a good idea to learn how to protect it against viruses, spy wear, trojans and alike, as well as taking care of the actual hardware of your computer. Think of your computer the same way that you would think about a brick and motor business, you would do all you could to protect and look after you premises so treat you computer the same way.
-Internet Literacy
I assume that if you are reading this in an article directory site that you are at least somewhat internet literate. This kind of literacy is quite simply your ability to surf around the internet. Not much to learn about this, just look around the internet and see what's out there. There are lots of viruses etc out there but as long as you know the basic computer care skills then you should be alright.
Learn these basics (if you don't already know them) and you will be setting a firm foundation for you to stand on in your efforts to build your very own online business
Good Luck!

3 Internet Businesses You Can Start For Free

by Huey Lee

As hard as it is to believe, it is possible to start an Internet business with little or no financial outlay. Of course like any other moneymaking endeavor, you will eventually have to invest some money in order for your Internet business to grow. But you will be surprised at how far you can get without spending a cent. Here are a few online businesses you can start for free.
Sell a product
This is by far one of the most profitable to make money on the Internet, which is why many small startup businesses take this route. Unfortunately this will involve a lot of hard work and time. If you are serious about taking your Internet business to successful heights however, you should probably be prepared to do what it takes to get there, so the hard work and time investment shouldn't be an issue.
As time consuming as this particular business is, the challenge becomes even more formidable if you are working without a budget. This is an important factor to consider before you get started in this line of work.
Sell someone else's product
Another way to make money online is by becoming an affiliate or a reseller for someone else's product. This business involves referring people to the web site of the product supplier and getting a percentage out of every customer who makes a purchase based on your referral.

Unlike selling your own product, this business is a lot easier to get started in without capital. Unfortunately the down side to this is that it is not nearly as profitable. However, it is possible to make some decent money from this business, provided you sign up with legitimate and reliable supplier who will keep track of sales and pay you on time.
Selling ad space
The first step in this type of business is to develop a web site that will attract a lot of traffic. You can simply sign up for web hosting with a free service and fill your web site with useful and relevant content that people will want to access. Once you get a good stream of steady visitors, you can then display ads on your site for which advertisers will pay you. Contextual advertising is one of the latest trends in this Internet business and it should be considered if you want to stay competitive.

Internet Business Tip Number 3 - Are You Greener Than You Thought?

by Ray H. Brock

Have you been working at home on your own internet business for a while?
The home has now become the UK's most popular start up location. More than 60% of businesses are started from home and over 1400 new home businesses are launched each week (source: Home Business Report, October 2007).
Apart from the more obvious benefits a home-based internet business brings such as more time with the family and friends and being part of the local community, one of the key benefits I can see myself is the slump in car maintenance and fuel costs. I now have a 30 second commute to my office (upstairs and turn left). Which means the car can sometimes be left in the garage for days because I've taken to walking to local amenities now that I have more time in the day.
Admittedly my home electricity bill has increased slightly but it's no where near the level of fuel savings I'm making with the car.
So, without even thinking this issue through, it seems I'm already a friend of the environment. How about you?

According to the RAC Foundation, an increase in home working contributes to a reduction in CO2 emissions and could cut peak traffic by up to 10% within 5 years here in the UK. And it's surprising to know that new business owners can gain up to 20 extra days per year through giving up the daily commute.
I just wish I'd discovered this business opportunity before so that I could have spent so many more hours with my children as they were growing up. Not only that, but they would have grown up with a more entrepreneurial mindset and become involved themselves. Still, there's time yet.
But what I love most is the work/life blend. Starting and growing my business with my partner from home has meant we can work together and share the financial rewards.
An internet business has definitely provided a better work/life balance for the family.

Online Listings For Business Companies - Why And Where

by Andrei Ci

Why should you have your business listed on the web.
If you have a website or a blog for your business, you must make it known. It is no use if you have a website and no one visit it. You won't have any customers or just a few. Your business must be a presence all over the internet, you must be a voice among your competitors.
Let's say someone is looking to buy something you sell. If he searches the web with a search engine and your website is not in the first five results, you definitely loose, loose more. If he searches a web directory, or a set of web directories, and he don't find you there, he will find your competitors for sure, and you loose again.
As you understand, the more your website is spread on the internet, the best. Your site will have a great exposure to visitors on the web, and also in the search engines results; and so you will have a greater part of the full fruit.
Where should you list your business company
First of all go and submit your site to the search engines, generally to the major ones: Google, Yahoo and MSN. It will take some time until your site will get indexed by them. To accelerate this process, have other sites link to yours. In other words, continue the process of listing your business on the web.
Open a blog for your business website, describing your business and letting people now about anything it's new in your business. Don't forget to link it to your main website.

Another way to spread your business is to add your website to the business directories, and mainly to web directories. Almost all web directories have a subcategory about business where you can submit your website. There are lots and lots of web directories on the internet that you won't have time to submit to them all.
The start point should be DMOZ or ODP (Open Directory Project). Just go to dmoz.com and suggest your site to be included in their directory. They say that The Open Directory Project is the largest, most comprehensive human-edited directory of the Web. It is constructed and maintained by a vast, global community of volunteer editors. And it is so. To have your site listed in DMOZ will be very good for your business, and it's also free.
The business.com is a large directory related only to business. Business.com is the leading business search engine and directory and pay-per-click advertising network serving more than 40 million unique business users and thousands of advertisers every month. It is more like advertising and you have to pay, but it will bring you great exposure to your business.
Other notable directories are: Romow.com, Odp.in, Dirsnap.com, Authoritydirectory.com and many more. Another way to have your site listed is to write articles, or have them written by others you pay, and submit them with your business website to article directories, like articlemarketer.com, article-dashboard.com or ezinearticles.com
There are many more web directories where you can add your website. Some are just free, some require a reciprocal link, some must be paid. Just search google for web directory, or business directory and it will show you up an endless list. Try to submit your site to as many as possible; don't forget, the more your site is listed on the web, the greater is the risk to have many visitor to your business website and many customers.

Making an income online is not about going for a 'get rich quick' opportunity. It's about building a solid business. I always emphasize that making a consistent income online is possible once you start to think of Internet marketing as a business.
OK, so first off, you need a quality product. There are two ways to go about having this - an affiliate product, or your own product. Promoting a proven affiliate product almost assures you high conversions from the off, but the downside if you have to split your profits with the merchant. Having your own product allows to keep 100% of the profits.

How do you create your own product? The easiest way to create a product is to write an ebook. You can either write it on your own or hire a ghostwriter to do it.

Are Membership Sites for You?

by Joyce C. Thorburn

There are basically two types of membership sites:
Free Sites
Paid for Sites
People on any membership Site have common goals and interests.
Free membership sites are often offered to a customer after they buy a product. In that way they will be sure to get any updates of the products, and/or support from the vendor. Also, a lot of Forums are in the form of free membership sites. In order to post threads you need to be registered, and have an ID and password.
There are free Forums for about any subject you can imagine. They are great places to go if you are trying to find a profitable niche market. Every Forum has its own special subject people have interest in. You listen to what people are talking about. The things they want, or need. The problems they want solved. This way you would be able to give them the solution to their problem, by selling them the information they need, or the physical product they're looking for. And, of course you could belong to a forum because you are just interested in the subject.

Paid for Sites come in all sorts of forms:
Sites where you pay a monthly fee in order to use certain software. You often need to be a member,
in order to have access to certain keyword tools.
Sites where you pay to use PLR documents, and where you might get new PLR packages every month.
Forums, connected with Websites that provide Internet Marketing training.
The Marketing Training Forums can be very beneficial. You can go there as a Newbie and ask questions. And there might be some more experienced marketers there that will give you the answer you were looking for.
Of course some of these forums are better than others. If you do find a "Newbie friendly" forum, the monthly fee you pay is well worth it. And, once you become an expert, you will stay and help others.
Setting up a membership site isn't all that complicated. And it gives you recurring income every month. But do your research and check on your competition. Make sure your site is unique and covers a not so well known subject, or approaches it in a novel way.
People that become members of a membership site, and then discover it wasn't what they expected, can always cancel their membership. Just make sure you do that before the next month's payment is due.
Overall, membership sites can be quite lucrative for the owners of one, and quite beneficial and/or educational for the members.

Joyce Thorburn is interested in reviewing different types of on line products. She will not recommend products, unless she has used them herself, or she knows the reputation of the people who developed them.

Using Google to Run a Reverse Phone Lookup

by Martin Verite

Google is by far the most popular search engine on the internet, and has been maintaining this status for years. One of the secrets to its success is the fact that it is easy to use, free, and extremely complete. Furthermore, it has many added features that allow you to search for specific kinds of results, such as images, videos, and phone numbers.
The phone number searches offered by Google aren't just forward searches, but also include reverse phone lookup options. Therefore, if you have a telephone number and you'd like to know who owns it, you simply need to plug it in to Google's service, and you'll be provided with the results page.
Though you can perform a lookup using the main searching page at Google, the best place to get the results you're looking for is within the Google people directory. To find that page, simply go to Google and type "Google people search" into the query box. You can also simply enter the number into the query box. Either way, the results that will appear when you click "search" will be headed by the Google directory.
Always make sure to include all ten digits of the telephone number when you're performing a search, because any reverse phone lookup site will require both the area code and phone number for accuracy.

If your search is successful, and you've looked for a number that is listed with Google, your results page will include the name associated with that telephone number, as well as the street address, city, state, and Zip code.
If your search to find out who owns a phone number is not successful, it could be for a number of reasons. Google lists only American numbers for residential and business landlines. This means that unlisted numbers, cell phone numbers, and international calls (including those from Canada and Mexico) are not among those listed in the Google directory.
For those kinds of numbers, you will need to find reverse phone lookup sites that are specific to them. Those sites are not hard to find using the Google search engine, but simply are not available within the Google phone directory itself.

Martin Verite is a freelance reporter and technologist who enjoys covering the telecommunications industry. Find out everything you need to know about reverse cell phone lookups at his site http://www.FreeCellPhoneLookups.com

Maybe you haven't noticed it yet, but the numbers of your downlines has been steadily decreasing. This could be due to various reasons, and you certainly should find out if it has something to do with the way you manage them, but in any case, one way of increasing your multilevel marketing profit is by injecting new blood to your team. Find more recruits because they immediately increase the number of sources of income you have. It may not immediately transform into profit, but at least the potential is there.
Offer Training Seminars and Workshops
Your downlines may be diligent and devoted, but they may not be as creative or as updated as you are with the latest tricks and techniques in multilevel marketing. If so, maybe it's time to ask your downlines to attend a training seminar and equip them with new knowledge, skills, and abilities to improve their performance.
In offering training, it's important to identify your people's strengths and weaknesses, teach them how to exploit their good points while overcoming their bad points. You should also learn how to determine when individual or group training is necessary. It's also important to offer it to the right person at the right time and place.

Change Your Target Market
Your target market may have reached its saturation point already, and that's why your profit margins either stay the same or decrease. If this is the case then it's time to look for a new target market.
Consider the demographics of your target market. If you're catering to teenagers now, do you think it would be possible to market your products to a younger or older age group? If your primary market is black people then maybe you should look for another state with a healthy black population?
Consider the untapped sectors of your target market as well. How can you make these people aware that they need your products?
Offer Extra Incentives and Motivation
You've got a healthy number of downlines and all of them are highly equipped to market your products effectively. The demand for your type of products is high so what could possibly be wrong? Have you considered looking inward? Maybe you've been so busy you've forgotten to motivate your team?
Reestablish communication lines between you and your team. Become more vocal about your support and in encouraging them to work hard and make sure to let them know there are financial rewards at stake for people who perform admirably.
Branch Out Online
Traditional network marketing may have been founded on in-person sessions, but there's certainly no rule that prevents you from exploring another avenue such as going online for instance.
By creating online access to your network marketing proposal, you get access to a more global audience. With the help of an affiliate marketing program, you can also have traffic coming from long established and highly reputed websites.
If none of these ideas for increasing multilevel marketing profit works then maybe it's time to ask the Big Question: could the products you're selling be no longer as valuable and attractive as they once were? If this turns out to be true, you don't need to start from scratch. You can keep your steam and use the same management style. You just have to look for a different network marketing company to work with.

by Tudor Ciurescu

Have you tried to start an Internet marketing business and failed? You certainly are not alone. There are many people who come online, expecting to carve out their success in a short period of time.
Many of these people are doing that because they follow unscrupulous marketers, that promise them high returns in little time. That can't be done. There is no shortcut to success. Internet business is like any business that you start except the fact, that you don't talk, see, watch the person that you are trying to sell or to buy, LIVE. This is the only difference. Plus, in the virtual world, many people don`t know who you are, what you do for a living, were did you had your first 1000$ to start you online business, and many thinks like these, that makes them uncertain when it comes to do business with you.
Offline business is harsh business.
Why?
Because in the offline business world, your start-up cost for your business are much greater than the start-up costs for your online business.
Of course, in both world`s you have to...
- Do publicity to your business;
- You have to "rent" a space, from were your business sell her products;

- You have to stay up till next day, to figure out how you can make your business work;
- To convince people that they should buy from you and not from your competition;
- To have better prices than your competition;
- Etc.
This are just a few thinks that you must do in the "Business World", no matter if it is the Virtual or Real World.
Except...
In the VIRTUAL WORLD or ONLINE BUSINESSES the COSTS ARE SIGNIFICANTLY SMALLER (this i tell you from my own experience).
They say that the journey of 1000 miles begins with one step. This is so true, especially when it comes to making money on the Internet. If you're able to start your business correctly, you will find that it actually leads you to success in a short period of time.
This is done in several different ways. Stay tuned for more articles.

Is It Possible To Get Rich On The Internet?

by Iyabo Oyawale

Now let me go straight to the point, is it possible to get rich quick on the Internet? I know you have seen and heard several get rich quick on the Internet claims.I am sure 'Make $100,000 in 3 hours Without Any Stress Whatsoever' is a phrase you have heard so many times.
But the truth is,a lot goes into building an Internet Business such that it would be improper to say it is a get rich quick process. While there are tremendous possibilities on the internet, you have to be patient. Far too many people go into a business expecting to get rich over night. There are some things you can do to speed up the process, but do not expect to go from rags to riches over night.
In many ways, building an internet business is not different from building a traditional business. It takes the same effort, time, energy and planning to run an offline business successfully. An offline business does not turn in profit from day one, same for an online business. And if you will permit my bluntness,it is virtually impossible to get rich quick on the Internet (I may be wrong,so,you can leave your views below).
The first thing to consider when you want to start an Internet Business is to ask yourself the 5Ws and H.If you are a 'retired journalist-turned-Internet Marketer'(laughs) like me,you already know what I'm talking about. In journalism,we have the 5Ws(what,who,where,when,why) and H(how) of a news story and if you are writing the report of an incident that has taken place, your report must contain all those elements or else,it won't be considered complete (gosh, this reminds me of my Journalistic days). As an intending Internet Business person, you must ask yourself the 5Ws and H,that is:
1.What-what am I going to sell online which people will gladly give me money in exchange for? Is it a product or service? This largely depends on your hobbies or personal experience as well as a market need.Locating a need in the market and deciding to fill that need. This way,you are assured that people already want what you want to produce,so,you don't need much convincing to sell. This is largely true for someone who wants to go into the Infoproducts creation and marketing business because anyone who has been online for sometime nows there are different business models on the Internet.

2.Who-who will buy what I am going to sell online? This involves being able to single out a market that you are going to serve on the Internet. On the Internet, success does not come from serving everybody. It comes from having a small market and really satisfying that market. To be able to single out a market to serve,it will help to read articles on finding a profitable niche market.
3.Where-This involves asking yourself where you are going to be selling what you intend to sell.Is it on a blog, website, etc. It also involves deciding where you are going to advertise your products or services.
4.When-This involves asking yourself when you are going to launch your product or service.Or when you're going to advertise. Is it everyday, every week or what? You decide that.Timing is very crucial to the success of any venture. For instance, you cannot make much money from a cold drinks business during the rainy season,so,launching such a business in the rainy season is disastrous as you will be frustrated, people drink cold drinks during the hot season.
5.Why-Why am I going into the business? Because I have a flair for it or there is a need for such a service online? You need to be able to come up with your why."Findyourwhy",so,says,John Di Lemme. What is the purpose behind your starting an internet business?
6.How-If it is a product business you want to run,you ask yourself, how am I going to create my product? Is it by writing myself or hiring a ghostwriter? Is it by interviewing an expert. If it is a service business, how do you want to deliver the service, via email,on your website or what? You have to determine your how at this point.
That is it: the 5Ws and H of starting an Internet Business. They will no doubt help you in streamlining your thoughts and plans.
Having said that, let me say having a plan is really the first step in starting a successful Internet business.Setting goals and stating how you want to achieve your goals will help a lot. Now,put everything on paper, don't just let your goals roam endlessly in your mind, concretize them, put them on paper.Give life to them and they will no doubt come to pass.
After developing an extensive plan,it is time to build the business. Depending on which internet business model you have decided to run with, you now have to create a web site, generate content, make it visually appealing and easy to get around. You will come to learn that your web site will never be completed. In order to stay ahead of the competition, you constantly have to be adding fresh content and new ideas.
Now that you have a web site up and running, it is time to promote the internet business. It is crucial you take the time to advertise every day for an hour or more. The only way you can earn any money is if you have traffic coming to your site. Therefore, your marketing campaign is one of the most important facets of the business.
While it is not going to happen over night, eventually you will begin to have a steady flow of visitors. However, getting traffic to your site is not enough. You have to turn these visitors into customers through your web site and customer service. And in order to have a successful online business, you have to learn how to turn one-time customers into loyal customers. This is a great way to become successful rather quickly.
So as you can see,a lot that goes into building an internet business. There are programs you can join to speed up the process, but even then there is extensive marketing needed to have success(eg.Affiliate Programs). If you are patient and determined, the internet offers possibilities you will find nowhere else around.
And as a concluding remark, always see all your efforts geared at making money online as sowing seeds.Seeds have to germinate, grow into a big tree before they start bringing out fruits, same with your Internet money-making efforts. They go through the same cycle but I tell you,if you are the patient type, you will reap a lot of money from the Internet because the Internet is a cash cow,I can tell you after 5 years of being online. That's the Law of Nature and nothing can be done to circumvent it.A seed has to germinate, grow into a tree before starting to bear fruits.I rest my case but not without asking you my earlier question,Is it possible to get rich quick on the Internet?

Why Stretching Will Kill Your Sales

by Barry Densa

I'm a tennis fanatic-my whole family is. I'm a 4.0, my wife is a 3.5, (those are USTA rankings) and my daughter plays on her HS tennis team.
If a tennis match is being broadcast on the Tennis Channel, ESPN or FSN, life comes to an immediate standstill in my house. The dishes are left in the sink, laundry doesn't get done, and the dog doesn't get walked (we just put him out in the backyard).
We play tennis (lessons, matches, tournaments) 3-5 times a week, and we'll rarely schedule a vacation during the "slams" (Australian, French, US Opens and Wimbledon).
And yes, I want to have Roger Federer's baby.
Okay, you get the point.
Now recently it's been promulgated by physical trainers that tennis players, and presumably all athletes and weekend warriors, should not stretch before exercising, playing, competing, etc.
I'm not going to get into all the reasons why, or when you should actually do your stretching. Suffice it to say, stretching is detrimental to your health if it's the first thing you do before exerting yourself in any physical endeavor.
And I find it so interesting that the same prohibition also applies to, yup, marketers!
Stretching before presenting an offer will hurt a marketer's back-end (sales, that is) and...
It'll kill cash flow
Here's why...
Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). The entire developed world has it. And I'm not slighting those who are clinically diagnosed (though there seems to be some debate as to whether it really is a true medical disorder).
Nonetheless, because of technology, ambition, opportunity, cost-of-living and a myriad of other reasons-the most valuable, transitory, easily depleted, irreplaceable resource that can be neither seen, touched, smelled or heard-is time.
No one has a wealth of time, just a constantly growing deficit.

Therefore, as a marketer, if you don't grab your prospect's and customer's attention immediately with a compelling and captivating offer-the odds of making a sale is about the same as me turning off the TV when Roger Federer is playing.
And yet, if there is one affliction most marketers suffer from-it's Speed Deficit Disorder (SDD)
They don't get to the point-quick enough!
Every communication you have with your market, even if it's not sale-related-has to be clearly discernible and understandable, online and off, "above the fold". There's no time to warm-up and stretch.
And I'm not just talking about your headline-which is a whole 'nother topic. But even your headlines have to be clear and direct; they can't be cute or obtuse. A headline must possess all or most of the 4 U's: it has to be Useful, Urgent, Ultra-specific and Unique.
What I'm talking about here though, is your first sentence, your first paragraph-after your headline.
In every promotion, right from the get-go, you've got to tell 'em what you're gonna tell 'em, before you tell 'em anything else.
No one's dying to hear from you
So don't go strutting through cyberspace and customer's mailboxes like a peacock with no sense of purpose or direction.
After all, you're asking for someone's time. Many parents will give up their children before they'll sacrifice their time-that's why there's day care centers, latch-key kids, and sociopathic, homicidal, high-school gun-slingers (don't get me started on the lack of quality family time).
Waste your target market's time often enough, and your emails and direct mail will be deleted and discarded before they're opened-same goes for your website.
I don't know how many times I've arrived at a website and wasn't sure I was in the right place-'cause I couldn't immediately see what they do, what service they provide or what products they sell-and I didn't have the time to find out.
If you could sell time-you'd make a fortune. In the meantime, whatever you're selling will cost time-at the outset.
So don't beat about the bush. Don't build a warm and fuzzy nest in which to lay an egg-present the bird, already cooked and ready to be eaten.
Then, if you think it will help grease the slide, you can talk about the weather, where you went to college, the boil on your uncle's butt-or whatever you think will float your market's boat.
Learn from my mistake
If this article was a sales letter, I'll bet you a tennis bag and ten tennis racquets that I couldn't give away a Brinks truck filled with 24 karat gold bricks for $1-if that's what I was offering.
Why, because who in their right mind cares about, much less has time to consider, my tennis ranking, my tennis obsession or how I walk my dog. They'd stop reading after two or three sentences-they'd never get to the part where I offer to fill their living room with 10 tons of gold bricks for a measly buck!
But it's not a sales letter... and yet, it's still won't be read by many people-especially those not interested in tennis-because I took too long to make my point.
Sheesh! What a waste of my time!
