Linking Process That Goes Wrong!

by Derrick Tan

Links from excellent sites are great but there are also many techniques that are 'moronic' that we should avoid. People tend to trick the search engines, but it's getting harder to do that with tricks as follows:
1) Link Farming - Search Engine optimizers set up many sites that can be crawled by the spiders so that they can boost their ranking in search engines. There are also those sites that allow anyone to post a link on any topic. These are not recommended as there's no relevancy.
2) Hidden Links - Hiding links by colouring allows the spiders to see your wordings but not to our human eyes unless we highlight the whole page.
3) Spam the Blogs - blog spammers post comments that are totally irrelevant to the post or message. They just add in links inside their comments for linkage.
4) Fake reciprocal links - One way links are more valuable than reciprocal links. After you have requested for a reciprocal link back, some sites deploy techniques that make it a point whereby your link back will not be crawled by the spider. In this way, they will get the more valuable one way links from your site.
In short, do not try any of the tricks as you will be the one to lose out in time to come as the search engine become more and more intelligent. Your site may be banned from the Search Engines databases if you are caught playing tricks with the search engines. Watch Out! Ouch!
I'm neither a great internet marketer nor someone who has created a large fortune from the internet. I'm just someone who wants to get out of the rat race - out of all the office politics. I hope to show you the way into the world of Internet Marketing - FREE. I thought knowledge should be shared.
