How to sell eBooks on eBay does not seem like a hard question for most ebay ebook sellers, however without the correct ebook system, many resellers are simply not making money online.
Time again I see ebook resellers throwing up hundreds of e-book auctions on eBay and I cringe at the thought!
I know they have no ebook selling system in place.
I know they have no back end system in place.
I know they are not capitalising on the power of one time offers.
I know they are not building a mailing list.
And finally, I KNOW they will make no money selling ebooks on ebay.
I am often asked to help newbie ebook resellers, and their first question is always...
"How do I sell ebooks on eBay?"
My response is always...
"You won't be selling ebooks on eBay for sometime yet my friend!"
Why?
Because the initial ebook sale on ebay may look like the first step, but actually adding an ebook auction to eBay should always be your FINAL STEP!
If you simply list eBooks on eBay with not ebook selling system, failure is looming!
Here are 5 must do's before you even list an ebook on ebay:
1. Get an Autoresponder
You need to have an Autoresponder in place to allow buyers of your ebooks to sign up and receive additional offers from you. You simply set up sequential emails and let your Autoresponder email service send them out to your subscribers.
Once the buyer signs up, why not give them a bonus one time offer of a package at a reduced cost.
If you need an Email Autoresponder Service I personally use and recommend Aweber, as they provide a highly professional service for a reasonable cost.
2. Find a Free Bonus
It is always a good idea to offer your a ebay ebook buyers a free bonus when they purchase from you.
People love to receive "freebies". Of course if that freebie happens to contain affiliate links for you then all the better!
You can easily find free brandable ebooks or free ebook memberships so a little search on Google should give you plenty of products to offer your ebook buyer for free.
3. Recommend A Further Product
There are a vast amount of affiliate products you can recommend. Find an affiliate product related to the ebook contents and recommend it.
If you sell an ebook on ebay that is related to recipes, then find an affiliate product related to recipes to recommend.
4. Adding Audio
There are still so many ebay ebook sellers who have yet realised the power of adding audio to their auctions and other website pages.
Adding audio really can transform any page, it gives you a more personal approach and shows the visitor you are a real person. You can even get some funky background music to play behind your voice to make the experience more enjoyable!
If you add audio to your ebay e-book auctions, you will increase your chances of ebay ebook selling profits!

5. Put all of the above on an Ebook Download Page! Never give out a direct download of any ebay ebook purchase!

So make sure YOU take all of the above 4 points and implement them onto your ebook download page.
